having problems with this little bit which connects on the end of the gas/accelerator cable. It's got 3 wires coming out of it, but not sure what it's called, or what it does. Seems to cause the engine to cut out if i push it right down??

Presumably you can then tune it a little by moving it up and down - cos the screws move a little on sliders, there's mibbie about a cm range?

tps, throttle position sensor mate, its got resistance tolerances to set it up if you search the forums, cant remember the values off the top of my head but tbh last time i set mine up by simply lettin car idle then loosening screws and moving it untill it idled spot on at 950rpm
