Getting two new tyres fitted on the front this weekend and thought it may be a good idea to get the tracking looked at and adjusted. Is there anything i need to inform the garage, are they the same settings as the 16v or as it's wide track do i need to make sure they have the specific Williams figures? :?

think you need williams figures...not sure if they differ from the 16v though

I think they do.

www.alignmycar.co.uk have proper 4-wheel tracking things and have all the different settings on the computer, as well as giving you a full before and after print of camber, toe, and castor too, I think.

About £40 but not too bad really.

It may be worth seeing if someone (edde?) on ClioSport has posted them up at some stage though - I'm sure I've had a different setup the last two times I've been. Think I was toe in at first but now I'm toe out :?

Need some clarity on this! lol

Just make sure they can actually DO the tracking first...place I went to past week started crying like a bunch of girls that my track rod ends were seized. Dont they know they are sposed to be seized on a Renault? Noobs.

williams and valvers have a different tracking setup, due to the wider front track and different camber settings.

Williams clio front toe setting range (per wheel) is:-

0degree 05minutes to 0degree 15minutes

So, 10 minutes per wheel would be about perfect.

Thanks purple.

I'll have to dig out my printouts to see what I'm supposed to be running at the moment, although I may not bother if I'm going to get my tie rod ends done...
