Power steering fluid pissed everywhere :(

All over the alternator and inside of the bonnet :( had a quick look and it seems to be coming from a union just above and behind the alternator, is there a ring there that fails or is it likely to be a split pipe further behind?

metal pipe joins the pump behind there somewhere, it can be the o ring, the union itself of sometimes the pipe itself has been known to fracture

This went on mine a month ago, covered the whole engine bay with fluid. Got my local performance garage to fit a new one and wasnt too expensive!

well took it all apart and still bit unsure as to where it all came from :S the o-ring looks fine, couldnt see any splits in the pipe and the union was done up fairly tight?
