Does the raincatcher on the valver bonnet really serve any purpose...am I likely to get water in the plugs if I ditch it?

think its directly over the exhaust / heat sheild mate...doubt you will get water in the plugs.

but i recon if u remove it the outside vent will have nothing to attach too....but u could always bond it in ?

heh :) it only attaches with 2 bolts anyway with my new bonnet so might as well ditch it oh and the old bonnet catch!!

Ive not had mine on for months and had no problems.......get it off lol

Mine hasnt been fitted for about a year. Havent had any probs.
