Robin Hood Lotus Seven Rep, 2.0 pinto in it, cammed to hell with god knows what and a kent vernier, 147bhp, 600kg

went for the first spin in it tonight, it broke yesterday after he picked it up, rotor arm, fixed that and went up bradfield tonight as its wasnt raining, only bloody cracked the sump tho :(

its a mad bit of kit tho, sticks like glue round the twisties :twisted:

my dads got a lotus seven replica, but he hasnt used it for 4 years, might have to get it insured under my name. they are so light and beat most cars off the line, but anything over 70mph it gets a bit gusty.

my mate has 1 of these with 2.1 pinto and twin 50's being forced air by a T4 rs500 turbo and he's mad as a march hare behind the wheel!!,steering wheel is like a mug coaster.

140+ mph passing cars when you're on eye level with the top of their wheelarches is a bloody scary experience :sopping:
