Can anyone tell me what this part is called?
I have heard a number of definitions for it...Tie Rod? Rack Arm?

How much do they cost (from Reno or GSF/ECP)?
Relevant part numbers will be much appreciated also.
Are they side specific?

Can only comment on my experience...
I removed the Gator to expose the ball joint at the
By moving the track rod in the direction of its length I could see the ball (in the ball joint configuration) move in its housing, would click whilst doing so also.

I had changed my also, could not find from Renault(they give me shorter ones), but I find it at QH.
In case of the Williams it is longer than any other Clio
the QH code is = QR2120
In the QH databes it is for something else as I remember(R19?), but it is perfectly ok for the Williams :)
costs only a few pounds
Oszy
oh yes, and we call it like:
axial ball-joint

when you undo the trackrod the arm should be very stiff and hold its own weight. If its floppy - get it changed.
