Rite,

Im pretty sure im correct in saying that there are new laws soon to be introduced where you pay your road tax in according to your cars emissions?

Is this correct?

Does any one have examples of figures? Does it mean us lot will be priced out of using the cars we love?

I mean, my car is running a decat at the mo and it smells bloody awful on tick over (specially in a morning) so Ive no doubt that mine isnt the most user friendly car to the world

Are you sure? Have they gotten round to doing them all yet?

I do know my mot man well

£101 I paid for 6months when it was due in march. Ive always paid around this for the last 5 years.

only newer cars are in tax bands according to emissions....after 2001 iirc...old cars are still over/under 1500cc

Pretty much. It's over/under 1549cc for cars registered before March 2001 though.
