Got a random knocking sound when going over light bumps....

Its deffo coming from the front of the car but cant tell which side :S

Does it in 2nd gear when changing from first to second but not on the way down, it will some times do it when you pull away like a ball joint, but its had new ball joints....

It also does it all small bump roads, i.e if you drive over a cobbled area you can hear it, but if you go over a large bump or a speed bump etc you cant notice it.

Car has all new struts, springs, top mounts and bearings, all the engine mounts are new (all 3), have also added the 4th mount on the gear box.

anyone have a guess at what it could be?
Only thing not new on the front are the bushs and wish bones...

Is this a random knocking when you go over small, nuggety bumps, like something's jiggling about?

Mine feels like something's loose somewhere but the wishbones, ARB, bushes. suspension struts and springs are all under 2 years old :?

^^^Ditto

Need to get my powerflex ARB and wishbone bushes fitted to see if it cures it as I suspect it's worn bushes

Whats this subframe spacer and where does it fit?

Ovalled hubs so ball joints dont fit correctly?

Wishbone bushes?

Droplinks?

rod ends?

Just get underneath with a crowbar and have a fiddle.

yeah had it all checked, seems ok, and it passed mot and the guys there couldn't see any problems...

wondering if its just somthing lose, as you only get it on very small bumps not the large ones :S i.e speed bumps you don't get it but a cobble road and its there constantly
