Hi guys,

Need to know the best place to pick up a good paint match rattle can of Monaco 432.

Been to Halfrauds, picked up a 'Monaco Blue' rattle can and have done some test sprays...not a good match imo...so will be returning it.

Any advice fellas?

Think they were about 16 quid when I ordered some 449 ones a couple of months ago. Only problem is that they are tiddly cans - 250ml or so I think, although they list them on the parts system as 500ml but you get a 250ml can of lacquer included.

I got some premixed 449 from a place called moreleys paint, they were spot on with premixed paint, but it was not in a spray can just in a tub for use in my gun.

They did the option of in a can though, paid £30 for 1L ready mixed and thinned, so pass on how much for 432 in a spray can :P

Dont think they have a website

I always use the same guy in Pemberton, always a spot on match, depends on who mixes them to be fair and when i went there were a few different shades of the right paint depending on the condition of your original stuff so you can actually match it very well.

yup we do spray cans at work, u cant really get a better match than OE lol

the cans are small though, you can sometimes buy the paint in a tin aswell actually, but its only available in certain colours

Thanks for the advice so far. Well I've given it a few days and just took my time with the painting and finish. I must say that I am actually pretty satisfied with the colour match from Halfords, so apologies Halfords! :P

I will try and get a pic to show you the finished result.
