how do you get the tripod part off the passenger shaft? i got the circlip off but it still wont budge :? i tried a hammer but i mis-hit and destroyed a bearing :oops: :lol:

i hate that tripod thing, it has cost me a gearbox :evil: was ****ing around with the shaft last week when the tripod came out the box, went to put it back on without taking the gator off and it decided to get jammed in between the circlip and edge of the box. i did'nt know it got stuck and gave it a pull whiched then made one of the bearings come of the shaft and fall inside the box along with about 30 tiny bearings which it sits on, got the big bearing but the others were long gone somewhere in the box. it now sounds like a rattle can when driving lol gonna change box next week... sorry to spam your thread lol
