when changing brake pad and discs would i have to bleed the system?

best way is to open the nipple when squeezing the caliper back in to avoid damaging either component but its not 100% necessary if you don't want to sort the nipples out

yeah little hollow types bolts that are used to seal the calipers but allow you to loosen them with removing for the purpose of removing air/fluid from the system...

wow after taking off the first rear left drum the shoes were worned as one was thick and other was thinner. so i bought 2 sets for £16 decent hey.

however when i was replacing the brake shoes i accidently broke a clip which holds a small nut from spinning the strut i think it is but i dont think it will spin as its quite stiff with the springs tension , will it be a problem?
i personlly dont think it will.

do i need to add any lubricants on it or just straight replace brake shoes with new ones?

on the right hand side drum im finding it difficult to take off the massive nut which allows the drum to come off, ive sprayed wd45 and hammerd it aswell yet no luck, any ideas?

the shoes need to be adjusted until they are just touching the drum...

then adjust the cables under the car by tightening the bolt up. the bolts under the exhaust middle section heat shield..

yes the braking shoes are just touching the drums. all i need to do is replace the new ones on the other side and find that bolt under the car.

thanks
