First of all I couldn't get the alarm and immobiliser to disengage using the key fob so the AA guy bypassed the system so I could start it. Then on the way to work yesterday the car cut out and left me stranded on the side of the road and wouldn't start again!! Think it could be something to do with the AA guy pulling the fuse box down to disable the alarm! Anyone had similar problems? It's in the garage now getting looked at, hope it's not too serious!!

I had the cobra one just turned it off when using the key under the bonnet...don't you have that on yours?

right...no idea mate. sorry. But i think its your lsd thats causing it....i will gladly buy it off you and it should run fine :wink:

the alarms on the 1's were differant to the 2's & 3's which i know inside out !

He tried turning it off with the key, but no success, so he had to resort to pulling the fuse box down to bypass the system. I think this is what may have caused the car to cut out as it seems a bit of a coincidence!! It sounded to me like it had ran out of petrol but I had a 1/4 of a tank?? I'll find out by the end of the day anywayz!!

He he Northy, you'll have first refusal on the LSD if I ever get rid...

Martin, did you get the bonnet fitted in time for York mate??

It sits a little bit high a the front was it like that on yours or does it need tweaking?

Yes it did sit a little higher on mine, you can see in this pic there was a bigger gap than standard down each side as they mustn't have got the size exactly right:

righto chief...the pics work must something your end? Mine looks different because the back is lower...might even it out or try adjusting the front...

Martin looking closely at the image the front of the bonnet where it comes down looks mighty close to the front edge of the wing, or is it a camera angle?
