Top Mount Kit Contents?

Quick question here;

i'm wanting to get some shocks and springs built up off the car with all new parts...what do i need beyond the reno top mount kit?

AFAIK i'll defo need the top spring seat/cup but whats in the top mount kit?

IIRC from the top spring cup up it should run bearing-rubber donut-washer-bolt to hold it all together then the hat like thing once it goes in the car.

Does the kit include all this stuff?

minus the circlips (they only come in packs of 10 too and you only need 2 so he give me the other 8 for free)

Ah right, so the washer thing that goes through the donut between the top nut and bearing is missing then...will need to order that separately along with the spring cups.

What are the circlips for?

Never seen them before on any of my 4 clios? :?

CIrclips to hold the whole lot on.

Though when I did mine a couple of years ago they changed from using circlips to just using a nut.

Ah right that explains it then...the ones i've seen have all had newish top mount and/or been late ph2/ph3 cars.

i wouldnt have thought you needed to replace the washer? its a while since ive seen one in bits so im just waiting till i come to fitting them, i looked on the dialogys when ordering and it seems thats all you need

Well i'll be build the units up without being having old ones to get the washer from if you see what i mean.
