i had my rear arches done nearly 2 months ago, and was sick of being told by 'know it alls' (mainly cockhead vauxhshite owners with astra gsi's) it was a replica due to the lack of stickers not helped by the white wheels (to be gold in winter ready for next summer btw)

so regrettably i bought some replica decals that were going for £2 on ebay, id already bee GIVEN a set of number 2's at my really cool dealership, but have other parts to buy before shelling out 60 a side for stickers.

they came and are the right size but have no infill, but to be honest unless you look closely you cant tell.
so stuck them on last night the golsd is a mile off, i emailed the guy and he said its the nearest he has, apart from that the font and letter size are bang on (i have photos with a ruler of the originals and their location)

also cleaned the wheels and used some hycote black vynl spray (which is like a tinted lacquer) on all the plastics which i would recommend to everyone as the car looks as if its 8 years younger now it really is that good

yeah luckily mine was just surface rust and bubbling paint so thought i best get it done asap, had to take it back for redoing tho as the guy left rust under first time and it just came back through within the week  i was well annoyed as hed tried to bodge it and it went wrong

mines bubbled quite badly and is beggining to spread along the sill  :( i'm not quite financially prepared for the bill yet, haha, so when all other work is done, the arches will get done and my sunroof removed. i like the white wheels btw, nice change from gold, i'm changing my wheels to matt black on my willy 3 :D

id suggest catching it early as it just eats otherwise
i did the little bits of rust on my sills too get one of these and a drill
http://www.wolfcraft.com/images/photographs/WireBrush.jpg

and get the rust down till its shiney metal then seal it really really well
otherwise youll come to do it next year and your poking screwdriver will go through the metal, and before you know it your getting new sills welded in ££££!!!

i paid about £1.40 for the wirebrush and about £3.50 for a tub of underbody seal
well worth the money

just paint it on with a small brush, and dont be shy with it, more is better as long as you get all the bare metal covered,
just been reading classics monthly as well which hads got some right guides on rust removal, says to use rust remover and preventing fluid which you paint on before the sealer, so gonna get some of that
