Does anyone know the kerb weight of a 1-7-2

Phase I's

Is sub 1000KG's possible or not i.e a realistic possibility?

don't worry mate i,m getting near 40 and driving round in the maxi.... 8)

i've done a few bits of research on these cars and my knowledge is growing slowly..

at the risk of getting told off i,ve starting putting up loads of stuff on the clio16valver website. tech guides etc that might be useful..

Lol!!

I just dont think I can bear spending any more money on mods on the 16v, Id love an F7r and have come very close to buying a couple recently but the wiser people in this world have put their unwanted (at the time, argh) points across to me to point me the other way.

Yeah, dont like phase II 1-7-2's or newer, and 1-8-2's they look very girly IMO.

Only really like the early ones, but the price varies so much some phase I's are 3.5k some are sub 2k now.

Ill have a look at your posts on the other sites
