Finally got my wheels on today after my spigot rings came in the post....well pleased with them , the car feels on tip toes now over the old ph-leads. Although the weight saving was'nt quite as much as I thought the phleads were 16.1kgs each with tyres...compared to 12.1 for my spoon wheels so still a decent 16kg saving of unsprung weight with maybe another 1/2 kg saved on the stud and lug conversion....lol

Pics are kinda pish really need a new decent camera but you get the idea.....seriously needs lowering too

interior is WIP...tar out ...carpet and stereo in...my plan is keep some comfort but get rid of the weight in areas such as battery, bonnet, sunroof, seats etc when funds allow...

needs widetrack and lowering me thinks....i like the wheels , but the main reason I bought them was the silly lightness...

Nice mate, they are spoon wheels?

They look like rota slipstreams. (jdm style yO)

Can't wait to see what you do with it :)

lol mad...Stan's old hybrid cleaned up a beaut by looks of it then! Was abit shocked that you've decided to keep the carpet in...Still running sound deadening under that? whats the engine like on it?

Looks quite clean aye...arches need doing at some point will probably leave that till winter though.....

aye stripped out the tar...only weighs about 9kgs total though...lot of fooking about for not much gain really....engine feels torquey and good in 1st and 2nd...but dies after that...4th is pretty pish tbh...

I'm hoping a de-cat , willy maniflange and gunner chip will help this.....

Looks good mate. I suppose you wanted something different than a blue valver on pro race rims

But i'd save your money and go straight for a supersprint. The willy manifold isnt great tbh

Whats wrong with a blue valver on pro races andy?!?!?

looks good martin, just out of interest can you actually put anything in the door cards whilst they are like that or would any items fall into the door?

Since you have had quite a number of Clio's Martin, how much variation is there in terms of a good one and a bad one? As having owned so many I would say you must be in a good position to comment.

And, how long have you owned this one and the door guards are already gone! Enjoy the ownership.

Theres a reason for that  as most pro race owners will agree, unsprung weight changes certainly makes a difference!
