im currently doing a few bits and pieces to the car and needing abit of help now, 1st thing is my clutch,i just replaced it with a fast road clutch from techni clutch and it seems like the biting point seems low and really qwick, is this normal for this type of clutch, 2nd is my steering has abit of freeplay an iv heard u can weld part of it does anyone have a pic of wher i have to do this?, and the 3rd thing is does anyone know wher i can find repair panels for my rear arch's and are 1.2 sills the same as williams ones? any help would be great,

not sure on the clutch never used one..

steering column

can get repair panels for the willy either full rear quarters from renault or get you or the body shop to mod the repair panels fropm lesser models including sills

clutch will bite like that for about 200 miles mate until it beds in properly. my brand new clutch was like that when i fitted one to mine when i had it

If its a performance clutch then yes the idea is to bite really quick. The biting point on all new clutches should be really low, the more wear they get, the pedal adjusts and the biting point raises towards the top of the pedal.

Does it engage gears correctly, esp when hot?
