Right, today after swapping the fuel lines over, she fired up!
BUT...
She'll only stay alive if i keep pushing on the throttle up and down, or it dies, if i hold it down, she dies. And its only revving between 1-3k rpm.
Lots of pops and bangs from exhaust aswell while this is going on. I tried holding t/b open and it doesn't stay alive even then.
At least it starts but really, whats the deal with this, any ideas?
leads the wrong way round...or a loose injector plug...

Nope, they are in the right order as far as i can tell, not changed them since was in other shell.
Any other suggestions?
have you adjusted cam timing etc..done any work between or swapped any bits over since running it in the other shell

No, only changed alternator for fresh item? Nothing more.
check all earths check for air leaks pipes missed off and split
Map sensor plugged in right yeah?

Would of thought it'd be that, would just make run really lump but should still be fine...

on the bulkhead above the brake master cylinder...
two connections...one to the inlet one electrical

Its brand spanking new.
Surely it wouldnt stop me from revving it past 3k?
When it was busted before the car still ran properly once warm.
sounds like you have a fuel problem more so than a spark...
injectors ok injector plugs ok..fuel pressure ok..

well i had a dodgy connection on mine last week and would go from idling rought to trying to tick over at 3-4k and if you tried to accelerate it would judder like it was under/overfuelling. even when warm.
was just an idea tho
