Hello, once again i have decided to go down the route of fitting a williams engine in my clio 1.8 16v.But im not going to rush into fitting it as i want to make sure everything is 100% right before i get to fit it. There is a big list of things i will need to do before we fit it.

New water pump
New cam belt and tensioners
Aux belt
skim head, reseat valves and pressure test
repaint block.
New clutch.

Well i decided to buy the engine a few weeks ago and it has the following fitted by prima racing.

Uprated fast road cams
Big valve head, polished and ported.
Kent (non cholatate) pullys

And there is a possibility of a 2.1 conversion using larger pistons.
Mapped ECU to match modifications.

Well here is some pic of the engine as it is.

If there is anyway any of these photos would distinguish if the bottom end is uprated i would appreciate comments.

Thanks

looks standard but looks like it might have been rebuilt at some point...

plus i would upgrade your pulleys bolts to 12.9 items and loctite them in..

Just a quick update, i have managed to get all the parts i need to finish off the engine. I decided to get the head skimmed as it would improve realiability issues.

Going to finish of cleaning the bottom end this weekend, and then its off to get the head put back on and new belts and tensioners.

Aiming to get the engine fitted for the 26th of this month.
