I want to repair gibbos all torsion bar ....anyone got a clue if it can be done
Hard job?
Or am I best sticking with finding a new axel?

I cant quote exacty to renault ones... but on pug's tortion bars the stub axels can be replaced but i think you need quite a hefty hydraulic puller to do it on the car, off the car a bearing press would remove it quite easily!
10 tonne hydrolic puller, about £80 from Draper...i remember selling one to a bloke once, had a good play wht it first though, ****ing impressive bit of kit
