i have not put mine back on today i have left the pipe un blocked
will this be ok or will i need to block it up
i cant try it because my battery is dead untill tomorrow

its going for an mot at dinner time tomorrow and iv been unable to start or drive the car to check anything out :(

I remember reading it is used as an emission control device - and its primary work is to preserve unburnt Fuel vapour which finds its way into the intake system..

I also remember posts on another forum stating that after removal of the carbon cannister, MPG decreased.

You don't own a 2.0 15 year old sports car if you're worried about mpg, if you're worried about mpg you get a nice economical diesel

I would if I was getting 200miles to the tank on a motorway cruise at 70mph.
