i need some help.my cooling fan on my williams has just started blowing the fuse when it cuts in so i am thinking the relay or switch is broken.Could some one point me in the dirrection of the cooling fan relay.is it in the box of relays in the bay?
thanks for looking
Have you checked none of the wires are shorting anywhere first?
Always check teh cheap/free things first ;)
As above check for shorts as the relay sounds like it's working just fine... and so are the fuses ;)

Have a look for melted wires in the relay box, the diode tends to burn out.

Does anyone know the rating of the Diode... so I can order another from the likes of RS? I've just measured one off another Williams on a multimeter and it says '656' but I've know idea what units these things are measured in... Ohms? I'm guessing the Renault OEM part costs a small fortune.
