these road legal?
Very interesting question, i thought no Comp only but how do you get round the legality of driving on the road from stage to stage ??? on multi venue rallies ?
Thought thats why they put some level of tread in slicks (17%) surface area because of this.....
It's like me fathers barnet, a bit of a grey are
Technically they are competition only and most are marked as such but obviously you can't change tyres after a stage just for a road section

So in theory 4 dodgy none road legal tyre 3pts a piece = 12 month driving ban.........
On the "Tour of Mull"  .
The organisers warn people :( :( ~ that at the end of a stage the Police COULD be in evidence checking the tyres   ~~ But NOT for compliance as to whether they have "Competition or Sport" on them, but purely that they are legal regading depth of tread.
I am not sure but if they comply with the "E" marking then they are ok.I took my car for its MOT with nice new KUHMO C03   (similar pattern)and it passed no problem.
It is more the depth of tread and area that is the issue TBH.
Paid and collected today. :D
Amazed people havent bought these for trackdays etc as they are sooooo much better than trackday tyres R888 and the lot. 1 - 2 seconds a lap.
Should have just saved myself some money and had these then
i run michelin full race slicks on my trackcar, wanted these aswell but without a job its hard to throw cash into things like this!
