well, i'm supposed to be going, but after not being allowed to sleep by the twats that live behind and their BBQ that went on til 4am I slept in... Mehdi has phoned me... twice now waking me up ;) fukker! lol

Updates so far... well, as you may expect conditions are not ideal in this heat and the one in front is running 0.3 over it's best and slower terminals i believe, but the TB'd beast has clocked a 13.8 so far at 100mph :o 8) :lol:

So, mid 13's on the cards? I reckon so

Heat wasn't so bad, it was the humidity that killed it, Martin and Jon would 100% be in the 13's if it was less humid. On average times were about 3/10 down across the people we spoke to

After a rather shite start to the day 14.7@93mph.. :shock: I resorted to the old sas trick of disconnecting the battery! Whacked a bit of 106 ron fuel into the mix and hey presto 14.1@99mph! Getting close to the big 100mph terminals :D 99.34 best today... Vids to come! 8)

i'm not even gonna bother attempting to make York... there's no point, my car will never get there... so far it has:

broken down the night before a peaks run (cat died, no power)

broken the week I was due to run at York... gearbox, although I went anyway but had no 2nd gear...

died before going to an RR... MOT work that was on going for god knows how long...

several JJB meets missed, gearbox and various other problems...

bottom end failed after getting half way to an RR day...

so in conclusion I think it will never get 1/4 mile'd and never have another power run again...

both ball joints are fooked, whining noise when turning to the right... still... whining and knocking to the left. over heating in that it just moves up towards the dangerous staggered bit, but luckily noticed this and then there's the fact it can use 3/4 coolant in 10 mins of driving upon checking it the next day... i think we should swap cars for a month so you can witness the gypo curse pal... you'll soon be empathising with me! lol
