Im not also the one who feels it necessary to race each and ever car on the raod, probably to try to prove what a 'man' you are, when in reality most of the other drivers are thinking 'what a wanker', he spent £3k trying to polish a turn.

I wasn't polishing a turd either, thats why it sports 1.2 badges and doesn't get washed, the car serves one purpose only, to provide me with entertainment.
Now you MAY think that racing everything in sight and 1/4 miling is proving im a 'man', but ask anyone on the ENTHUSIASTS forum if they drive their cars, or store them and polish the little nuts and bolts in their engine bay.

the turbo clio must be worth more than willy 002 tho if thats only worth £6k which dont get me wrong is still a lot for these types of car

Not really, it was the first outing etc etc, compared to a cammed, stripped, SMT6'd clio it was running .4 of a second faster. If you look at the videos, its out fo shot by 3rd gear, so not shy at all.
The other Williams, that has had headwork, cams, re-mapped ECU etc etc was running .5 of a second slower then mine on the day.
I'm hoping for 13.5's at POD weather permitting.
I'm not wuite sure the point you are actually making TBH, the car is faster full stop, the evidence is in the Videos. Now whether it was worth £3.5k or not.....seeing as cams, headwork, and stand alone ecu and re-map would cost over 2k.....i'd say so. Now £800 Williams wheels on the other hand, surely only a confused little boy who falls for all the marketing hype would be preapred to do that? We spin 'em, you lap it up!
well if u think no.0002s worth 40 grand, and no. 200 worth 6 grand...after uv sold em both, and added another14 grand to the kitty....id consider selling u 'THE 1 IN FRONT'

Thats pretty much the case though with more extreme tuning..it gets fukin pricey! For bhp/per pound you are'nt gonna beat cams/re-map,breathing mods.....but to go further...££££

Yup yup, you said it first time you sat in it! For a blank canvas 2L i would say its more then worth it, but if you are already at the stage you and Martin are, money spent on headwork, cams, pulleys, mapping , re-maps etc etc, it wouldn't be worth it, but this conversion was only 1k more then all of that.
And we have been 1/4 miling for long enough to know the next step was T/B's, it had to be done, im done with messing around with stripping, octane booster, air-feeds etc etc, if you want 200+bhp, you can't do it on standard inlet, end of.

£40k williams :? tried to sell it to me for 6k so its sounding like a bargain if its worth 40k :D ill take it!
why are lower numbers worth more is it just cos they have lower miles and less stone chips and just in better general condition? id rather have the modded white one cos its faster and handles better from what i read. aint this one gonna be worth more than the other older shape clios its 200bhp :!: :?: :!: :?:

its only worht 5-6k tops TBH mate, you dont get half the money back on mods so i won't be asking silly money for it. Bottom line, its a clio, regardless of plaque, shiny new wheels etc etc.
And its faster and handles better then 0002, 0002 is standard and has only ever been driven when its been thrashed by inexperienced journo's.

it must be more disireable to own tho cus it's the 2nd one made. id not want a car that i knew someone else had thrashed round a track tho but the stone chips would give it away. if i had 6k to spend id have 002 off king tho as long as its low miles but only cos its a williams. yours will obviously be better tho cos of the power and it looks like a williams but in white. best of both worlds :D

nope, its because my private test track was being used by other at the time and it wasn't safe to do a standing start.
So let me get this straight, you are actually questioning my car being slower then a coupe? when th eproof is in front of you?
And Walter, £6k for 0002 would seem like a bargain, rumour has it that its not on original mileage and there are vids up showing the abuse it has had from inexperienced drivers, maybe Stromba can give more details though?

KS, from looking at clean16v's vid, he doesnt start pushing the engine untill 2 secs into the vid, and it hits 100mph 13 seconds in.
So i make it about 11secs 20-100mph ? !
