check your other mounts as well, sometimes a new mount somewhere can put more strain on another mount and wear it out quicker

fixing things on these cars sometimes highlights other problems so dont worry too much

maxi means the renault 19 16v front gearbox mount to help stop play. my first port of call would be to replace the dogbone mount.

i am still of the opinion that for road application the dogbone mount on its own is fine provided its in good condition. the 19 16v mount is a good addition for a track/rally car ect where the demands placed on the engine differ

I know u can put the extra mount from an r19 on and ask coops for 1 of his solid dogbone mounts

I dont know about solid mounts for the others as I haven't really looked into it, although u cant go far wrong with genuine renault mounts unless you're goin mental with the engine
