gearbox mount

hi guys i have stripped the thread out of the gearbox top mount hole, i got another bracket but the one that was on the car was moddified as i am running a megane box. i can get this hole drilled and tapped but i dont want this to go again. has any one had the same prob? i was thinking of getting a longer bolt to go straight through the ally bracket on the gearbox and stick a nut on the end. wat do you guys recon

Might be an Idea to use an R19 Gearbox Mount as well - reduces movement of the gearbox and I would hope through this prolong the life of the Top Mount and its fixings.

Do a search for R19 mount (also there is a guide in the 'guides section' if you are a paid member).
