when i start her up in the morning, the revs fluctuate (bout 100rpm) as usual but that doesnt bother me what does is the tendancy for the car to hold back as i initially pull away? what happens is i pull away, usually v gentle but will work with more throttle and the car pulls back and the revs die to about 600ish and is almost stalling. i put my foot back on the cluthch leave it a sec, pull away and all is fine???
any1 else had this?

yup, mine does EXACTLY the same until warm... once warm tho if I boot it the revs at idle go to 1200-1500rpm and fluctuate... :?

wierd, mine aint that bad. just fookin pisses me off as its like im stalling all the time. only does it once or twice, not consistenlty for a long time.
has any1 actually ever worked out why so many williams' and valvers have idle problems? is it the lamda sensor, or the idle control valve etc etc. does having ya car remapped make any diff, good or bad?

Mine idles like a bitch until warm, think mines more to do with the cams tho. Not that arsed about it I just let it warm up for a minute or two before pulling away...

mine does this but only if left to stand for ages, once the throttle has been used 4 or 5 times its back to normal

this will sound strange but i find the problem is worse if ur first movements of the day are in reverse? wierd i know, but if i reverse off the drive i find that the problem is worse than if i drive foward! i just leave mine to sit for 3osecs before driving now and its usually fine.

well i always reverse onto the drive, so every morning i drive out forward...

my car used to be the same! still is abit dodgey wen reversin of the drive in the morning though....but it aint 2 bad since i tuk it in 4 a service n its all gd now :D could it b sumtin 2 do wiv the spark plugs? cuz i had mine changed durin the service?!?!
