under car leak

i hope someone can help me out, as i have had this leak for quite some time, which i thought to be the crank shaft oil seal, but i'm not so sure now and it's really beginning to p*ss me off, it doesn't seem to look like engine oil or smell like gearbox oil, so i'm not to sure, but i hope someone can shed some light onto it for me. cheers. :)

Mine was engine oil from the crank shaft oil seal, used to spray up on the clutch so after long periods on the motorway it wouldn't disengage properly.....but then i was doing birmingham to leeds and back each week, so long stints on the motorway

yeah, did u replace it? i put a new seal in, but it's still leaking. :evil:
