torsion bar refurb

hi i want to refurb my torsion bar has anyone on here done it?tried a search but allsorts come up,have people changed the bushes and have people fitted torsion bars as its going to be a track car

i have taken a 19 16v rear axle apart sometime ago ,
its a right bitch of a job .
the bushes looked pretty damm fine for a 16 year old car .
also new bushes are pretty expensive and difficult to get from
renault as far as i know .
