A healthy engine is ment to be between 150-200psi this made the above, I did amke a video of the exhaust but there was no smoke so little point in showing it, i will make another when its dark and a bit colder as this is when it was noticed, so whats the problem with the car? tbh i think the fate for this car was sealed as now its cursed, if anyone wants it i will take £900 NO OFFERS if it isnt sold by the time the other williams is gone ti will be broken - no request's yet please.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=dafRnLwgOIg thats the one i have atm, car doesnt idle because it doesnt have iscv so i cant hold the camera, have to hold the rev's instead

The car runs no iscv, the smoke can only be seen when on idle, could this be an over fueling issue at idle? i filled the car with oil when i left Rob's when i got back it had the same amount init, the compression test rules out piston's/rings...

Cup racers dont run ISCV, mine doesnt idle when cold but idles most of the time when its warmed up.

the engine is from a rally car and it didnt have one i've no idea why, i put one on but it idle's at 3k (something to do with ecu mapping i presume) so took it back off, once the cars warm it will idle at between 1000 and 1500, i mentioned the oil because on a 200mile trip it didnt go down.

In the vid there isnt any smoke, tbh that was to prove that it isnt there all the time and i didnt know there was any smoke issue when i provisonaly sold the car to Rob and Laine, it appears to occur just occasionaly and only ever at idle/very low rev's.

If its black smoke and big volumes then its most prob ECU / lambda issues. Dont think it could be much else.

If Blue smoke then could be quite a few things.!

Sorry mate, that paragraph wasnt aimed at you in a sarchastic way, it was aimed at everyone in a general way. update on the car -

heres a vid showing no bubbles in the coolant tank this is also rules out the head gasket, then i take it to the exhaust where you cant see any smoke but you can see water build up around the ring of the exhaust.

MY CONCLUSION - (important word being MY) theres nothing wrong with it, ive put almost 900 miles on this car since i bought it and the coolant level has not moved and ive never topped it up, the water from the exuast is pure water, im positive theres no coolant init, i theink the person i bought it from must have got excited with the hose when washing the exhaust and filled the silencer up - this is the only explanation i can think off, its def water and the water level of the car doesnt and hasnt gone down, if anyone else has any other conclusion you are welcome to voice it!
