Hi All
I Replaced my starter and battery a few months back but recently on the odd occasion get the dreaded click of the solenoid. After a few turns it starts fine. I am pretty sure it is to do with the wiring to the starter and am going to remove and clean up the contacts etc, My question is the Black cylindrical conector going to the starter motor or is it a different wire?
If so the wire is very stiff so might be worth renewing does anybody have any experience of getting replacement wiring as i know you can't get it from renault anymore (according southampton dealer anyhow) or is it case of going down auto electrician and getting cable made.
