central locking has stopped working

the remote on my keyfob has stopped working, although the immobiliser/alarm keyfob works fine. I do have a leaky sunroof - might this be the cause? Currently I'm just locking n unlocking with key. I suppose it might be the battery on the renault keyfob but the red light is coming on when pressed? any ideas?

Yup you've killed it with that leaky sunroof.

Take the sensor panel out and leave it for a good few days next to the radiator - before you put it back in wrap it in cling film all the way round the circuit board - It fixed my valver sensor doing it this way and I was amazed to be honest I thought it was deader than a dead thing.
