got a set of 1.9 alloys coming with it aswell, but to be honest i like the 1.6 wheels that are on it, more original, going to get them sprayed up black or anthrite with a polished lip

i know what your saying, its just every gti seems to run 1.9 alloys, so i like the fact its a bit different, and it helps with the sleeper look :wink:

it is a flyer mate, previous owner ran a 1/4 mile time 14.2 and a 0-60 of 5.7, with full leather interior and a boot full of shit, i'm gonna strip it out get a couple of bucket seats in it, get it set up proper on the rollers and then find them 2 scooby sti's that smoked my williams :twisted: i expect it to be a 13 second car easily. and a very good track weapon.

Its got avo coilovers on, had 2 gti's before
, a 1.9 and a 1.6, both good fun, the 1.6 was more chuckable though, both had standard suspension, good cars just not enough power, thats not the case here though 8)

biil I know of a set of Gti wheels for sale, could do with a quick refurb, but would be cheap, think they are the same as the first wheel pic posted up above, in Darwen too

3 sets of wheels is enough thanks mate :wink: car comes with a set of 1.6, a set of 1.9 and some other 15" wheels unsure what they are, but they look very nice

I like 205's they're so cheap to maintain compared to a williams £100 for a cambelt change anyone!

Whats the power to weight of a standard 1.9?

gearbox change £50 ;) standard 1.9's aren't reallt quick, a good one may be valver pace at a push, my 1.9 used to getr absolutely wasted off my mates mk gte 16v, it got to the ponit where i didn't even bother trying through embarasement, this bad boy is another story though!

The cars been stood for about 8 months now and has gone down a bit to be honest, it wants a new tailgate and a good polish, hence the good price though ;)

yeah it is sorrento green daz, same colour as my old 1.9, a lot of people used to ask if i had a black gti, sometimes it was just easier to say yeah :roll:

theres plenty of mi16 engines 205's knocking about now

Quite rare colour - I also read theres only a tiny amount of green in them anyway majority of the colour is actually black!

If it had carbs and had no sunroof it would be complete 8)
