They also do Trackday oil 5/50 for the same price, which would be best for a track car ?

5 40 for track with an oil cooler ;)

I wasn't so keen on it, made my engine very tappy sounding but i did notice a small difference in performance!

doubt you would notice any difference... i wouldnt use halfrauds oil in a perforamnce car, tho i use there semi synth in my clio now was its cheap.

cant see why it would be any better/worse than any other fully synth 5w40... they are all made to certain standards, which should be good enough for our old clios.
