A one hour task that turned into a traumadey. First off you only have 2 bolts to remove and sure enough the first one I went near snapped in two, I didn't even have to put much pressure on the rachet :roll:

Took the shock out to find it was absolutely gubbed:

Didn't take a genius to work out why the front of the car was massively low:

Now, my question: I'm guessing these washers were not from Renault? I assume the person fitting the lowering spring put them in so that the spring would actually reach it's perch, but figured I'd check before I relocate them to my spare parts pile.
