idle problems

had my ecu chipped, car idles fine until i drive it hard then it idles at 1500 rpm. If i turn it off then start it again idle is 1000 rpm.

ive already eathed the speed sensor on the speedo cable...no joy.

any ideas :?

Exactly as stated by Brun. The speedo cable drives the wheel speed sensor. Get a new speedo cable and it will be perfect...I bet if you drive along the road when its idling fast and switch the ignition off and back on quickly it will idle spot on :P
