Fuel Pump?

Is the standard renault fuel pump from a phase one a walbro item?

When I took mine out it was bosch if i remember rightly, def not walbro.

I was half expecting to see a french part number.... i have done a search and it seems walbro is an uprated pump, it has definaley been changed as you could see it wasnt on the original fittings etc,

Yup I fitted a walbro one to mine. Was it slightly smaller and wrapped in something to wedge it in?

cant say it was smaller, i havent seen an original in a while, yeh it had like a little round spacer around the bottom to fit snugly :) glad i didnt throw that old tank out now lol

It's not unheard of for Walbro pumps to fail, especially on cars that have been run low on fuel. Given the choice I'd go with Bosch pump every time.

theres nothing wrong with the walbro item i took out... seems to be pulling up as a part for a hyundai v6 thing, taking it to work tommorow, to do a pressure and flow test,
