The front passenger tyre is the one which does all the work on my car. And is starting to get onto its limits.

The other tyres bar the drivers front are also getting well worn. The drivers tyre was new when i bought it.

The question i have is - can i swap the two front tyres over (so i wear the good one to the same level as the bad one) for 1/4miling ? They are directional and i know if it rains what will happen...but will it make any differance in the dry ?

Or are worn tyres better on the sticky pods tarmac ?

cant see it making any difference if its dry after all the tread is just to shift water from under your tyres. should be ideal for going up a straight dry track :P

In the dry it wont make any difference at all. Just more likely to aquaplane in the wet.

I quite often swap directional tyres around on track to even out the wear.

If you wanted to do it properly just get them taken off and remounted.
