im in desperate need of manual steering alternator brackets and bolts, i've been visiting my scrappy on the regular for what seem like years with no joy :cry:

has anybody got these parts or can anybody help out in any way?

as per my reply in your wanted thread

try and find a renault safrane and get the alternator bracket off that :D

u need these brackets.. if u want the part numbers let me know i have them on the invioce i think not cheap tho... but i diddnt have time to go looking round scrappers so got them new!
also ill let u know wat size belt next weekend as 5 ive tried so far are either slightly to long or slightly to short!.

also look for volvo 440/460 with the 1.8 spi engine. they use the bracketry you need.you wont find a non pas valver s they dint exist unless removed by the owner

Can you no just use the std unit with no fluid. or does the fluid also lube the bearings.

Does it even have a main bearing. Surly you can mod the std pas unit to do the job! :wink:

the std unit requires lal the extra brackets and they weigh a tonne!

erm i dotn have the doalogy bit it i can get hold if a copy *hint hint* i will fine it and tell u :P

Im sure volvo 440's without pas have the brackets you need
