battery light???

battery light came on yeasterday as i was driving along. only flickered a few times, and it hasnt done it today though. is it a sign the alternator is on its last legs???? or does the contacts need a good clean up????

My money would be on battery contacts, prolly negative lead, don't just check the contacts, mine was a shit connection to the terminal clamp

As last post my neg terminal was loose tightend and light stopped flickering

had an auto electrician replace the terminals and properly solder the points on.

well worth it.
