View Full Version : Red Connector Under Cigarette Lighter?

Currently tidying up the wiring on my car - miles of stereo cabling removed so far. Under the cigarette lighter there is a red connector, any ideas where it goes/whether it is used?

A previous owner has hacked 2 wires off it and joined one that I'm guessing powered an amp - tiny little wire joined onto a thick power cable  Once I've cleaned it all up I'll join them back up, just wondering if the connector should go anywhere, or is as I suspect a spare used on another model.

I'll try to get a picture later (if necessary).

Thanks, not having a sunroof explains why the ejector seat isn't hooked up  I'll happily ignore it :)

its not for seatbelt pretensioners, thats a white plug which plugs into the airbag computer, my willy 3 has the red plug spare too, no idea what its for unless auto models or something to do with different countrys etc

On my old phase 3 I believe that connected to a metal box that was for either pretentioner or airbag control.
