Hi guys, just wondered if anyone has a rough idea of the weight reduction from removing sound deadening, rear seats (and belts), spare wheel/jack.

Not sure if I will leave carpets in.

140 kg?

bayliss had his trackcar weighed, it made 920kg iirc with it fully stripped, sound deadening/glass etc removed but thats with a cage which is about 25-30kg

Wow I was way off lol! Just trying to figure out if it is worth it and if it makes a noticeable difference.

How much do the rear seats weigh?

When I cleared out all the crap in the boot (including a heavy tool set) it did feel noticeably lighter on its feet, so if I get on track at some point this year I'll definitely been taking extraneous things out! :)

I must of gone to a rubbish weighbridge, as mine came in at 950kg lol
