accountants!!!! tax question

been hearing a few things at work from various people regarding a tax rebate/relief. i work as an EMPLOYED PAYE plumber and i supply all my own tools for the job(apart from the really heavy duty tools like core drills etc) and ive been told i can get a rebate/tax relief on the tools i supply??? even it means i can get my tax code lower it would be worth it. anyone give me any advice or pointers????

yes you can get all tools set off your tax bill...i do.
