firstly will it fit, which i think it probably will

but, how will it drive due to the ratios being different

in experience it depends on the phase of engine to box. i bought a box for my m8s phase 2 valver and the top lines up but the bottom of bell housing and locating lugs didnt fit.

i assume its the same with williams to valver.

correct me if im wrong someone

BRUN, just get a 1.2/1.4 JB1 box.

It'll be fine for the amount of power your car has and is the cheapest option.

Same fit, different 5th and apparently stronger.

Willy box is definatley the same fit, the reason some of the bellhousings dont match is because of the diesels, smaller petrols and i think even rsi's having steel sumps and theres a plate that goes between the box and sump on these, they all fit though

number1 is right, the difference is the bellhousings on the steel sump engines

Nope just leave it with the gap there, dont think you can change a valver alloy sump for a steel one without changing the pump etc and loosing the baffle
