View Full Version : SWAP FOR OR AGAINST
One of my relations has a cit saxo 1.4 west coast, has not moved for a couple of months, key fob is broken no spare, battery is flat,so when its connected again the alarm will go off without and wont be able to switch off and it d locked ? s reg roughly 80,000
well he was offered a swap for a E reg rs turbo escort but has hit 100,000 and has a clutch problem
swap or no swap ?
Bit of a no brainer isn't it?
Shite base spec saxo that doesn't work for an RST - take the RST!
Altho, youy've got to question why someone wants to swap a working car for a slower non working one...has the RST got hidden issues?
maybe only know the basics of the story, any tips incase incase i view the rs
I wouldnt want the RS especially if it has problems with it. You could buy it and fix the cluthch to find out its the box.
If i ever buy a car it has to be mint and running well to the best of my knowledge.
I would suggest looking on a ford forum for a guide really as there maybe a few ppl on here having owned both but it may take time for them to reply.
Open rs turbo's bonnet, locate vin plate, if its written in germany it may not be that Rusty, if its written in english close bonnet and say no ta!
