Actually looked at my cars history

Just took a quick browse through my cars history and funny how you don't really take note of things sometimes.

New Timing belt and kit in 2005 @ 87k (107k now)
New O/S driveshaft in 2004
Steering PAS Column replaced in 2004
Steering Rack replaced in 2004
New rear wheel Bearings in 2005
New Fuel hoses in 2004
New Gearbox in 2004
New Bottom hose in 2004
New Clutch in 2003

The number of times clutch cable comes up is funny as well :D One actually says "Clutch cable chewed up from previous attempt replacing" lol.

And 14 HPI checks in its life.

how do you find that out????

Ive got all the service history for mine up to about 4 years ago, even the original Pdi sheet is in with the reciepts, cant remember where the car came from without looking, will maybe dig it out later, Hartlands renault rings a bell tho..

how do you find that out????

I found out as I looked at the experian (hpi) report and it said it had 14 checks against that car (14 previous reports) in its lifetime.

Yer I did an audit on a motorbike shop last year and on the experian forms it shows how often it has been hpi'd.

I just thought it was good to see that some of the most common stuff had been replaced that's all. Only when you've had the car a while, and go on forums you learn the common faults etc.

yeah my old clio was from fishbrothers in Reading iirc paul
