I'm after some new ones since the gearbox side CV joints are rattling. However you don't even want to think what Renault want (lets say over £400 for both).
Does anyone know of any others you can replace them with ie 19 16V ones.
If i cannot get any cheap ones I might be interested in making some new ones. If so would anyone else be interested in new better quality easyier to repair drive shafts?

If the shafts arent actually damaged and just worn you should be able to get them rebuilt for around £60-70each.

I couldnt do this for mine, as they were both badly damaged when the diff went pop.

£100 each excellent are they definatly Williams ones? They only have one side in stock though. Will give them a ring tomorrow. Glad my price list regards drive shafts isn't wrong them as its got GSF ones on there I wasn't sure if there the same.

Eurocar parts do them for 100 quid eack too, but they all have surcharges, so real price is 130 with 30 quid exchange

Ooops I've just realised the price I was quoted included other bits they would have worked out at £169 inc vat so probably the same as Martins paying.

This months not going to be cheap with holidays, road fund, clutch, driveshafts, service fuel. I might as well declare myself bankrupt already.
