Still, that's you sorted for the weekend then. I've got a 1.8 to start to strip for a rebuild. I guess it keeps me out of trouble to (and out of the pub) :P

Well they obviously couldnt be bothered to undo it, lazy fookers.. Still cant complain the whole only cost £150 :D Monday it will be apart and inspected just to be sure

Yeh he was slow on the old emailing.. I looked at his other auctions and it had a number to ring so thats what I did, payed him there and then :D Soon as progress has began I shall be updating regulary with pics also.

my main caps came in the post today, all i need to finnish my new engine is that head, a new set of bearings and an oil pump :D

well happy to say the least... its been sat on the engine stand for about 4months

Wait till you crank it over for the first time Andy. Anything that doesn't sound quite right makes you drop one... it makes you feel proper manly n'shiz though once you've done it and everything's running just as it should ;)

Omex don't provide basemaps then?

What format does your ECU require basmaps in? I use the Emerald K3 but you might be able to do something with one of my basemaps for say a C20XE

well if i open it in the software you use i can copy the details accross anyway?

Just need a map for a clio with high comp bottom end and megane head to begine with.

I can send you the ignition and injector settings for a base 2.0 16v but it will require tweeks to get it running correctly with your CR. Are you running the Megane DIS?
