Why does the willy not have a towing eye any more on the front?

Is it a legal requirement?

Does it just screw in to a new panel I've had?

it should be under the number plate in the grill mate. Mounted to the front crossmember

Am I right (without looking) thats it a bolt on part and not part of the slam pannel?

Yes, bolts vertically through the front crossmember.

Mine didn't have one after front end work. Oddly Renault couldn't supply a bolt for it when I eventually got round to ordering so the parts guy gave me a head bolt which worked brilliantly. :lol:

Mine has no front towing eye either.

would be surprised if its a legal requirement to have towing eyes

i had to trade my rear one for a twin exit scorpion jobby :P

and for the front one to work i need to get the bumper out otherwise the
+5bhp splitter will be split in to 2 :P
